Although the lower-control arms in the front suspension are anchored in the K-Member (or K-Frame), the K-Member is the structural part of the car that attaches the engine to the vehicle. When swapping from one engine to another, the availability of motor mounts for a particular engine and k-member combination are very important. If none exist, custom motor mounts must be fabricated.
